Description
Open Accdb File
Open Microsoft Access databases on your Mac – regardless if they are in the older MDB or the newer ACCDB format.
• view, search and export your data
• the only universal Access database viewer – supports MDB, ACCDB, MDE and ACCDE
• no hidden costs, no in-app-purchases
This app makes viewing Access file quick and easy. A convenient search function lets you find what you are looking for. Double clicking rows brings up a record window perfect for reading long text or inspecting images.
MDB Viewer plays nice with others: export your database as Excel files, as CSV files, convert it to SQLite, or create SQL dumps. Because all apps have their unique intricacies, the documentation includes detailed instructions for transferring your data to Filemaker, Bento, Excel, Numbers, Open Office, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite and Address Book.
While MDB Viewer shows all the data stored in the database, it can not display forms or queries, and it can not modify databases.

Great little app
super good app. Spent an hour looking for various solutions to export Access tables to .csv.
I just wish I had not wasted that hour and went for this app straight away

Back to 5 Stars!
Update to v2.0.2 - back to 5 Starts. Bugs fixed. Works well. Thanks for the updates.
Update to v2.0.1 - seems a bit better. The verdict is still out if it will actually do a correct extract = answer = no, it crashes. Still an essential App on the Mac if you need to import legacy Windows databases. Since everyone is ditching Windows these days... there's work to be done :)
Update to v2.0 - very bad. Wrecked a great app. Files it used to open perfectly now say that there are errors in them. I TimeMachined back to the old version and I'm continuing to use that.
(v1.0.4) Thank you for a great application. Perfectly imports Access DBs (MDB file format) straight out to MySQL (other formats too). 600k records no problem to a 400MB SQL file. Perfectly imported into MySQL for further work turning into a much more efficeint 100MB table.

Great app
A client has an ancient website that uses classic ASP and a local Access database, and since I've moved to Mac I used to have to fire up my old laptop to view any of the data. I had been flapping about how to send him a table export this morning, but after a quick search this looked to be just the ticket. A quick install later, and within 2 minutes I had exported a CSV, converted this in Google Docs and sent it to him as an XLSX doc. Superb!
